I was just looking at this skill & it seems absolutely brilliant & I was wondering why nobody ever mentions using it. I mean, at 16 Healing it heals for 190. It seems like an elite skill, but it's not. The energy cost, cast time & recharge isn't even a lot.

I was wondering whether or not to use it on Dunkoro's build.

mainly because you can use Word of Healing in stead for 5 energy

its not a bad skill, its just that most monks try to keep their skill bar as low energy as possible and that for the energy, there are some more effective skills

Its really not all that good, it may heal for a lot but usually 2 casts of a 5 energy heal spell will serve you better. 2 casts of a 5 energy spell will benefit from divine favor twice, you will be able to split up your heals among two targets, and you wont overheal as much. Dwayna's kiss for example costs 5 energy and will heal as much as heal other with no enchantments or hexes, and more then heal other per energy spent with only 1 enchantment or hex, and it goes up from there. For heroes specifically, definitely no because they really don't have a good sense for energy management and will happily use it to heal someone who only needs 50 health. Things like that make me cry.

How does Dwayna's kiss heal for more than Heal Other even when there's no enchants or hexes on the ally? It says at 16 healing it only heals for 60

No. So long as you are capable of chain casting the heals you already have, there's no reason to add another less-energy-efficient heal.

I find that sacrificing some df atts for prot spirit and dismiss are worth taking up space. Heros are very good at using these skills.

the only place to use Heal Other or it's Factions twin Jamei's Gaze, is with Healer's Boon as a super heal, but that's about it. When I use Dunkoro for instance he goes as super heal with Kiss, Gaze, Orison (for healing his own dumb ass), Healer's Boon, Cure Hex and a few other useful skills, although I only use this in conjuction with a pure Prot Hero with the likes of Shield of Regeneration, Guardian, SoA, RoF, etc. Two Hybrids would work just as well though.

When playing through, with only 3 heroes I tend to just use a Prot Hero and then take a healing hench. That provides sufficent healing for just about anything that's out there and leaves room for MM's, Nukers and other nice builds that aren't available in hench form.

heal other and orison wouldnt suck so much except you dont need 4 skills on your bar that do the same thing.

I used it waaaaaay back before I had common sense while running a monk. Course.. healing prayers was the shit then. Now that we have healers boon, nah.

You don't really need DK in that build unless something freaky is happening.
